These delicated necklaces made from solid sterling sliver plated with 18-Karat white gold (rhodium), to prevent tarnishing and scratching. They are hypo-allergic, you are less likely to have an allegic reaction when wearing them, except in extreme cases. Our sterling silver chian that is characteristically strong, it's not easy to break or bend. Very suitalble to wear daily.

Caring
Caring for 18-Karat white gold (rhodium) plated sterling silver jewellery requires a different approach than non-plated sterling silver jewellery. Hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. We do not recommend the use of any jewellery polishing cloths which have been treated with cleaners or polishing agents. We recommend applying perfume or other sprayed substances before putting on your jewellery.

Storing
We recommend that you store your jewellery in the special pouch and jewellery box provided with your order. You can also store your jewellery in any air-tight container or zip-bag. Proper storage helps to prevent scratching of stones and metal. It is best to keep jewellery away from extreme heat or moisture. Be careful not to place heavy objects on top of your jewellery during storage and to be gentle when putting on or removing your jewellery. To ensure your jewellery is not crushed during storage, please store it in the Moody Mood jewellery soft linen pouch and box that was shipped with your items.

Cleaning
To clean 18-Karat White Gold (rhodium) plated .925 sterling silver jewellery, buff VERY gently with a soft and dry 100% cotton cloth or a microfiber cloth. NEVER use chemical cleaners on rhodium plated jewelry – it can strip the gold finish. It is natural for the rhodium plated will start to wear off because of the constant friction. With time, it adds character to the item and makes it more unique.
